Amazon Sapphire PinktoeNew World arboreal. A stunning blue-green pinktoe relative that matures medium-sized. Fast, skittish, and a strong feeder; needs the classic arboreal setup — height, cork bark, and above all cross-ventilation with only light misting. Stuffy, wet air is the number-one killer. Docile but quick. Like its pinktoe relatives it carries type II urticating hairs, which it does not kick — they transfer by contact, so handle the enclosure rather than the animal.
